"This young couple DJ-ed at my reception
and helped coordinate the ceremony and
reception. If you're looking for a DJ
who will do what you want (not what he
likes), Norman is a great DJ. He was very
helpful and didn't mind even last minute
requests just before the reception. Many
of my guests noted how personable he was.
What I wasn't expecting to need but really
helped pull the day off smoothly was Norm's
wife Jenn.
While she also plays
in the band, Jenn is an expert wedding
planner. Having gotten married in the
Northern VA area herself, she is understanding
of the bride's needs and thought of many
things I would never have remembered.
She provided a detailed outline for the
ceremony (so that the entire wedding party
knew where to be and when),and while I
thought her job would be over at the reception,
she was a huge help getting the introductions,
speeches, and slide show off without a
hitch. She also served as liaison to the
reception manager, so that I could feel
free to mingle with guests AND eat!!
I highly recommend Jenn and Norman if you want
someone down to earth and someone who will think of everything you

I seemed like we became fast friends in getting my wedding reception

Thanks for playing Beyonce, Usher, R. Kelly and Black Eyed Pea's,
that really filled up the dance floor. Plus the lei's and sunglasses
that you handed out made for great pictures. The "Love Train"
train must have had 60 people on it, and it was all because of you!
I wanted to tell that my mother in law could not get over the fact
that Norman was singing the Tony Bennett. She really thought that
he was lip synching. She also wants to hire Norman just to come
sing at a party she is putting together for her friends. I personally
loved the Neil Diamond.

So where do I start??!! Yes, the caterer was late and the guests
were hungry but who made it seem perfect in any event? YOU GUYS!
Norman wooo'd the crowd with his dead on impression of Sinatra (which
I think gave my grandmother heart palpitations), while Jennifer
was tracking down the caterer and giving them the correct directions
(ok, I was only 1 street off in my directions to them, not that
big of a mistake!). Yes, the photographer seemed more interested
in the desserts than in taking pictures but who lassoed him in to
make sure he took all the important shots of us - Jennifer! As the
crowd waned and started to stick to their seats who kicked up the
party a notch - Norman! Your song selection was great, from "Lets
get the party started" to "Shout" to "We are
family" to "Love shack" it kept things rolling along
which caused me to break a sweat, but no complaints from me!!
My Aunt Maureen told me " that guy up there should be performing
in Las Vegas". My sister Susan said she'll definitely hire
you for her reception - once she finds yourself a man to marry.
Super duper thanks to the both of you for all your amazing efforts.

Norman and Jennifer,
My gratitude for making our wedding reception the best is never
ending. It absolutely was the best reception I've ever been to and
all of my wedding party agreed with me. Your light show really got
the whole crowd up on the dance floor all night. The 70's disco
was a great idea because those songs are instilled in our mind from
childhood and come back like an old friend.
Then to throw in "Electric Slide" and the "Macarena"!
I wouldn't have thought I would have been "cool" to play
but I was wrong and it was a great idea. People had so much fun
dancing to those songs. "We are family" was also a great
idea that brought both families closer together, if only for 5 minutes.
"Last Dance" was a perfect ending, although I really wanted
the night to last forever. I gave you free reign and I'm really
glad I did because you came up with so many great ideas. Good luck
to you in your future endeavors, I will recommend you to all my
friends and family.

Just writing a quick thank you note for your great work at our wedding
reception. You did a fine job with every aspect of our reception.
Michael's boss already told me that he'd like to hire you for the
annual company party in June. His sister also wants to use your
services for her wedding next December. Needless to say I think
everyone who attended thought a lot of you guys.
I think the cocktail hour turned into a Las Vegas Revue with the
way Norman entertained our friends and family. We felt like Frank
Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Nat King Cole was at our reception just
for us. A special thanks for singing "Unforgettable" for
our first dance, it truly was beautiful.
Then to kick it up a notch with all the modern dance that we picked
really made the night diverse. You really played to the whole group,
young and old, which made it fun until the very end.
